Hi! I'm
I'm a self-taught coder, front-end developer, and programmer.
Pre-pandemic, I finished Civil Engineering school and was officially licensed seven months later. As a civil engineer, I've developed sharp attention to detail, problem-solving, and structured planning and organizational skills, which are valuable in front-end development.
The COVID-19 pandemic caused global unemployment but opened new doors for me in the BPO and IT industry. As a tech support, I rediscovered my tech-savvy side and explored new skills. Later on, I wanted to level up in my career. Due to the decline in the local engineering market, I decided to stay in IT indefinitely. To upskill in IT, I chose a tech skill that strongly interests me and ventured into programming.
I started my coding journey with freeCodeCamp. I've reinforced my knowledge with more resources, including W3Schools, MDN Web Docs, YouTube courses, and Stack Overflow. I've been building projects based mainly on freeCodeCamp and made them personalized. As I learn more dev-related concepts, I apply them to my new projects to expand my skill set and gain professional growth.
Outside dev, I enjoy music, watching movies or series, and traveling. I indulge myself with food and coffee. Japanese cuisine is at the top of my favorites list. I'm also an animal lover and a martial arts fan.
